Moving the Ball
Sherry Stepp, MCA President
If you know me, you know that I am a true football fanatic. I don’t discriminate; I will watch NFL, college or even the local high school team if it is a slow Friday night. The thing I love about football is that any given Sunday (Saturday or Friday) the underdog can move the ball and come out on top.
The last 2 years have flown by, and we definitely started out as an underdog as far as associations go. We have worked hard to develop member benefits, and while slow, it has been steady. We have developed quite a healthy library of technical resources, launched a webinar program and added to our Member Discount program. We hope to have our Job Board and our Discussion Board launched in the first quarter of 2023. We are also busy planning some industry targeted regional events that will enhance not only member participation but offer some great technical content to further answer “How Clean is Clean”.
We need you as a valued member to help us grow. Do you know someone who must deal with cleaning and is looking for support? Do you have expertise you would like to share with others? We are only as strong as our collective membership. Now is the time to keep moving that ball and getting it closer to the goal line.
I have been honored and enjoyed being the MCA president for the last 2 years. I believe we have “moved the ball,” and we are on our way to realizing the goals we set those 2 short years ago. I will continue to be active and part of the team that will support Jeff Beard (from Brulin Holding Co.) in his coming term.
Taking a break this month. Stay tuned for the MCA Monthly Webinars starting back up in January! Until then Please take a look at our past webinars here!
