Back to School – Learn New Things
Sherry Stepp, MCA President
Where did the summer go? It is that time when the kids are heading back to school to learn new things. As adults, even though we are not loading up our backpacks and worrying about the next test, we need to be thinking about learning new things as well.

As a member of the MCA, you have lots of learning opportunities available especially in the month of September.
A great place to start is at the 2022 Parts Cleaning Conference sponsored by MCA and held during IMTS on September 13. On the agenda are industry experts presenting on topics that are relevant to YOU. They will introduce the latest cleaning technology, discuss new regulations, as well as address common cleaning challenges being faced today. Take a peek at the agenda here. And don’t forget, as an MCA member you get an additional 20% off by using the code MCAVIP when you register.
If all that is not enough, make sure to sign up for September’s MCA Webinar: Exploring Cleaner/RP Combination Products. All MCA webinars are free to members.
If you will be at IMTS, please stop by the MCA booth in the Gardner Business Media booth in the North Hall (#236600) and say hello. I will personally be at the booth for most of the week and would love to see you!

Nitric vs. Citric Acid Passivation
While both nitric and citric acid passivation effectively passivate stainless steel and other alloys, the one you select depends on the alloy itself and the benefits you most value.
